Family home with a sea view for rent on the island of Kea (LP1408)

Kea, also known as Tzia, is one of the closest islands to Athens. There are three to four boats a day going to and from the island in the summer months and one boat a day in the winter months. As there are few hotels on the island, mostly private homes are rented out in the summer months. Most of these houses have been built from local stone, giving Kea its unique architectural style.

The villa is just 3.5 kilometers from Otzia, where there is a large sandy beach and two restaurants. The villa is set on a 8,000 sq meters plot of land and can be rented out in its entirety, accommodating  14 people. The property is split into two floors. The top floor of the villa, which is completely independent from the ground floor has a living room with a dining area, a fully equipped open-plan kitchen, one bedroom with a king size bed, a bedroom with a queen size bed, a bathroom with a shower and a guest w.c. Near the entrance there is a guest house with a bedroom (two single beds), a kitchenette and a bathroom with a shower. The ground floor of the villa is rented separately and accommodates 8 people.

To the right of the villa there is a “cave”, with a large dining/seating area and a bathroom. To the left of the villa there is a shaded dining area with a barbecue.

Amenities: Top floor – Internet, mosquito blinds, fireplace, heating, fans, BBQ, Flat screen TV, DVD player, limited DVD library, stereo, fireplace, refrigerator and freezer, Hobs, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, blender, filter coffee machine, blender, kettle, iron and board, linen and towels, parking, outdoor dining (cave) for 10 -12 people, outdoor dining (BBQ) for 7 people, fire extinguisher, first aid kit. Guest house – small refrigerator, microwave, filter coffee machine, kettle, toaster.

Facilities: One bedroom with a king size bed, one bedroom with a queen size bed, guest house with two single beds, two bathrooms with showers, one guest w.c, a second w.c in the “cave”.

Distances: 40 kilometers from Athens airport, 10 kilometers from the Port of Kea, 3,5 kilometers from Otzia beach, 3,5 kilometers from restaurants, 5,5 kilometers from Spathi beach, 10 kilometers from supermarkets, 10 kilometers from ATM’s.

Smoking allowed, pets welcome, children welcome, wheelchair accessible. Check in 4pm – check out 11am. Refundable damage guarantee 300 euro. Minimum stay 4 nights, except for July and August, where the minimum stay is 5 nights.

House Rules: Guests are kindly requested to respect “quiet time”, from 2.30pm to 5.30pm and after 12 at night.
