Fantastic house on the waterfront for rent on the island of Kea (LP1385)

Kea, also known as Tzia, is one of the closest islands to Athens. There are 3 to 4 ferry boats going to and from the Island every day. As there are few hotels on the island, mostly private homes are rented out in the summer months. Most of these homes are built from local stone, giving Kea its unique architecture. Kea a holiday to remember!

This charming house, is part of a small and private development (7 houses),  traditionally built with local-rusted colored stone, all located on the top of the rocky bay of Koundouros, surrounded by rich greenery. It is the heart of the very unique windmill scenery of Koundouros Bay. The house is ideal for two couples, or a family with two children who want tranquility and direct access to the sea, whilst having the possibility to explore the island’s history (archeological museum, ancient  temple ruins, ancient footpaths), hidden beaches and rich nature (rich oak forest). The house is walking distance from the pebble beach of the bay and from the crystal blue waters just below the house.

The property has been tastefully and stylishly decorated giving one a feeling of peace and tranquility. The living room, which has a large corner sofa and dining area opens directly on to the terrace with its breathtaking view of the Aegean.  Near the dining area is a fully equipped open-plan kitchen with all the amenities one might need. Leading off the living room is the master bedroom with a king size bed and an amazing sea view, a second bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom with a shower.

Outside the living room is a large terrace offering an amazing sea view. You can sit on one of the deck chairs and hear the waves gently breaking on the rocks below. Part of the terrace is covered by a pergola, covering the outdoor dining area and barbecue area. At the end of the terrace is a private access to the sea.

Amenities: Internet, TV, air-conditioning, mosquito blinds, coffee filter machine, kettle, sandwich maker, refrigerator, oven, hobs, dishwasher,   washing machine, CD player, stereo, barbecue, parking, linen and towels provided, umbrella and 2 beach chairs.

Minimum stay 5 nights except for July and August where the minimum stay is 6 nights. Refundable damage guarantee 400 euro. No smoking is allowed in the house, pets are not allowed, no events or parties. Guests are kindly requested to turn off the air-conditioning units when not in use and when they are not in the house. Guests are also kindly requested to respect “quiet time” from 2.30pm to 5.30pm and after 12 at night. cleaning fee per stay 60 euro.
