Stone built maisonette “Mezzo”, 10 minute walk from the beach of Otzia, on the island of Kea (LP1531)

Kea, also known as Tzia is one of the closest islands to Athens. There are 4 to 5 ferry boats going to and from the island every day in the summer months. As there are few hotels on the island, mostly private homes are rented out. Most of these homes are built from local stone, giving Kea its unique architectural style.

The maisonette is in the area of Otzia and is in a small complex of 7 houses, each one with its own independent entrance. Otzia has a large sandy beach, of which 1/3rd is organized. There are 2 tavernas near the beach and one mini market “kioski”. The beach of Otzia is a 10 minute walk from the maisonette.

Description

The property is on one level and consists of a large living room with a sofa bed for 2. A fully equipped kitchen and a dining area. There is also a bedroom with a double bed, a second bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with a shower. The second bedroom has an internal window that looks on to the living room.

There are two covered verandas, the first veranda is at the front of the maisonette and has a a built in coffee table and 2 director chairs. The second veranda is to the side of the living room and it has a built-in dining table with 4 director chairs and a stone built bench. A great place to just sit back and enjoy the sea view.

House rules

No pets are allowed, no parties or events are allowed, children are welcome,smoking is allowed, luggage drop off is allowed. Check-in after 3pm, check out by 11am. Guests are kindly requested to turn off the lights when not needed and when not in the house. Please remove all rubbish from the premises before departure.

Long term renters welcome (please request a quote). Minimum stay 2 nights 15th February to 18th April, 19th April to 30 June 3 nights, 1st July to 22nd August 4 nights, 23rd August to 30th September 3 nights, 1st October to 15th November 2 nights.

Refundable Damage Guarantee 250 euro. Cleaning fee per stay 50 euro. Maximum capacity 6 people, above 4 people extra fee of 20 euro per person per night.
