Kea, also known as Tzia, is one of the closest islands to Athens. Kea is a hidden gem in the Cycladic Islands and has its own unique style. As there are very few hotels on the island,  private houses are rented out, most or all of them made of local stone. The island has 45 beaches, most of them accessible by boat. Kea is the ideal island for those that want to relax and have a great vacation.

The villa is in a complex with 5 other houses, each with its own swimming pool. The villa, which is in the area of Mellisaki, is 5 kilometers from the harbor Korissia and 2 kilometers from the nearest beach Xyla. By the side of the complex there are steps leading to the sea.

The property is on two levels, the ground floor has a large living room with a fireplace, a fully equipped open-plan kitchen, a dining area and a w.c. The first floor has a large master bedroom, with a fireplace and  an en-suite bathroom., two more master bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Near the swimming pool there is a guest house, which has a living room with a fireplace, an open-plan  kitchen, a sleeping area ,a second bedroom (no window) and a bathroom.

Leading off the living room is a large terrace with a swimming pool and two dining areas, from where one can sit and enjoy the glorious sunsets. Near the swimming pool is a shaded dining area with a BBQ and a fully equipped kitchen.

Facilities: 4 bedrooms with double beds, four bathrooms with showers, one w.c. one bedroom with no window

The road from the harbor to the villa is a dirt road, a 4 X 4 is recommended but is not necessary. It is kindly requested that guests respect “Siesta hours”, which are 2.30pm to 5.30pm and after 11.30pm. Cleaning fee 80 euro.
