Kea, also known as Tzia, is one of the closest islands to Athens. There are 4 to 5 ferry boats going to and from the island in the summer months. Kea has been called the Hidden Gem of the Cycladic islands, due its beautiful landscape, gorgeous sandy beaches and unique architecture.
The house is set in the upper part of Ioulida, the main town/village of the island, just a 10 minute walk from the famous Leon statue, a giant stone carving of a lion made about 500 BC. To get to the house, you go to the top part of Ioulida, where there is a parking area (parking not always available) and walk down to house, about 6 minutes. As cars are not allowed in Ioulida, there is a donkey, called Leon, who will carry your luggage for you until the steps/stairs near the house.
For those that want to experience the real island feel, this house is ideal!!
The house, which is on two levels and is 80sq meters, has been completely renovated to the highest standards. The entrance is on the first floor and has a living room with a flat screen TV, a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. Near the living area is a bedroom with a set of bunk beds and a bathroom with a shower. Leading off the living room are stairs leading to the master bedroom suite with a double bed, a bathroom with a shower and a small utility room.

Internet, WiFi, air-conditioning in the living room, electric heating panels through out the house, Refrigerator, freezer, oven, Hobbs, washing machine, espresso machine, filter coffee machine, toaster, kettle, multi blender, juice extractor, first aid kit, fire extinguisher, iron and board, linen and towels provided, dishes and utensils.
House rules:
Check in – 3pm – check out -11am. One off cleaning fee of 30 euro per stay. Refundable Damage Guarantee 300 euro. No pets are allowed, no smoking in the house, no loud music is allowed, no parties or events are allowed. Minimum stay 2 nights.
Weekend stays are allowed with a small extra fee, please contact us for a quote. Easter 2023: 150 euro per night (minimum 4 nights).
Prices : January to February 110 euro a night, March and April 120 euro a night, May 140 euro per night, June 160 euro per night, July and August 180 euro per night, September 140 euro per night, October 120 euro per night, November and December 110 euro per night.
