Kea, also known as Tzia is one of the closest islands to Athens. There are 4 to 5 ferry boats going to and from the island every day in the summer months. As there are few hotels on the island, mostly private homes are rented out in the summer months. Most of these homes are built from local stone, giving Kea its unique architectural style.

The villa, which is 135sq meters, is in a small complex of 4 houses in the area of Otzia/Akrotiri on the waterfront.

Description

The villa is on two levels and consists of :

Ground level: Living room with a fireplace, a dining area and a fully quipped kitchen. The living room leads out on to a large shaded veranda with a fantastic sea view. Near the kitchen and dining area there are some stairs that lead to a split level where there is a bedroom with a double bed and ample cupboard space and a bathroom with a shower.

Lower level: The stairs from the dining /kitchen area lead to the lower level that has a bedroom with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom. The third bedroom has two single beds and a bathroom with a shower. Both the bedrooms have balcony doors that lead onto a patios with a built in seating area and a table.

Outdoor area: In front of the living room there is a large shaded veranda with a built in seating area and table. To the right of the house is the swimming pool, near the pool are two built in “Oda” (sunbeds), seating, a shower and a BBQ. At the back of the villa there is large shaded veranda with a built in dining table and seating. To the side of the villa there are steps that lead directly to sea.
