Kea, also known as Tzia is one of the closest Islands to Athens. There are three to four ferry boats a day going to and from the island. As there are few hotels on the island, most private homes are rented out in the summer months. Kea has is considered a hidden gem in the Cycladic islands, having retained its natural charm.
The property is located in Korissia, just a four minutes walk from the port of the island, where you can find restaurants, cafes, bars, a supermarket, a chemist, two bakeries, a butchers, a fishmonger, an ice cream shop and some small clothes shops. At night the road on the port is closed to traffic and all the various restaurants, cafes and bars fill the area with tables and chairs right up to the edge of the sea. Quite spectacular!
The house is on ground level and has a living room with a dining area and an open-plan kitchen. Leading off the living room are two bedrooms and a bathroom. Both of the bedrooms have balcony doors that lead on to the small patio of the house, which has a small seating area where you can sit and relax whilst having breakfast, lunch or a drink at night.
Amenities: Internet, oven, hobs, refrigerator and freezer, washing machine, coffee filter machine, kettle, toaster/sandwich maker, TV, a ceiling fan in the living room and kitchen area, air-c0nditioning in both two bedrooms, linen and towels provided, dishes and utensils provided, iron and board provided, baby cot, outdoor bamboo furniture, easy parking.
Facilities: one bedroom with a double bed, one bedroom with two single beds, one bathroom with a shower.
No smoking in the house, pets considered, no parties or events. Guests are kindly requested to respect quiet time from 2.30pm to 5.30pm and after 12 at night. Cleaning fee 40 euro per week. Refundable Damage Guarantee 250 euro. Check in after 2pm – check out 11am. Minimum stay March, April, May and October 3 nights, June and September 4 nights, July and August 4 nights.
